Do I need prior experience to take a class?

No prior experience is required. Unlike many other schools that require years of experience before allowing students to attempt intermediate or advanced finishes, Picasso School of Venetian Plastering welcomes complete beginners and takes you straight into working with professional-level techniques from day one.

What will I learn during the 5-day course?

You will learn 5 to 6 different Venetian plaster techniques and finishes each day, work with a variety of decorative materials imported from Italy, and receive hands-on guidance with all the tools and products used in the trade. By the end of the course, you will know how to order your own materials and be ready to start taking on clients.

What do I take home after the course?

You keep all the sample boards you create throughout the class. Every finish is documented on the back of each board, including all the steps used to complete it, so you always have a reference. These samples are also perfect for showing potential clients the quality of work you can produce.

Where is the school located?

The training center and showroom are located in Stuart, Florida, approximately 35 minutes from West Palm Beach International Airport and 55 minutes from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, making it easy to reach from most major travel hubs.

Can I get support after I complete the course?

Absolutely. Instructor Bill O'Malia stays available to all of his students after the course is over. If questions come up once you are back home and working on projects, you can always reach out to him directly for guidance.
